Friends of the Caribbean Liverpool will be active in raising funds to rebuild our Ccommunity Centre.
So, here is another opportunity for all to get involved. Have a good old rummage through the wardrobes, and anything that you don't want, it doesn't matter whether it is well worn or hardly worn, everything is acceptable.
The drop-off point is at Kuumba Imani Millennium Centre, 3 Princes Road, Toxteth, Liverpool. L8 1TH http://www.kuumbaimani.org.uk/

If you are unable to take your donation to the drop off  point  e.g. due to infirmity, caring responsibilities, working hours, etc  we may be able to arrange for a volunteer to pick it up or for it to be collected in a community pick up delivery if you are unable to get someone else to bring it for you..

 SATURDAY 10TH AUGUST - DOMINO HOME GAME 
VENUE:  Kuumba Imani Millenium Centre, 4 Princes Road, Toxteth, Liverpool. L8 1TH   http://www.kuumbaimani.org.uk/
Entry is FREE for the day event.
This will be followed by  a dance starting at 9:00 pm - £5 Entry fee.
All bar profits from the day and evening event will be donated 
 to Friends of the Caribbean Liverpool!
This is following on from the 1st Fundraising event also held at the Kuumba Imani Millennium Centre in June a Fashion Show and Dance to follow which raised over £1300.
We would like to give a huge thanks to  Kuumba Imani Millennium Centre for their continuing  support 
& also to the Jamaica Association for donating bar profits from the Domino & Dance Event  on 10th August 2013.

Welcome from Friends of the Caribbean Liverpool

Hello & welcome,

This is a brand new blog set up to keep people updated on the work that is being done by Friends of the Caribbean Liverpool to reopen and secure the future of the Caribbean Centre.
